ORDINANCE NO. 83-6
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE 81-5 SO THAT A PART OF AGRICULTURAL
PROPERTY IS CHANGED TO SINGLE FAMILY AND INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT AND
DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WYLIE, TEXAS:
SECTION 1.
After the necessary notices have been given in the
manner and for the length of time required by law
and after a public hearing on the matter, it is
ordered by the City Council that the hereinafter
described property be classified as follows:
A 7.038 acre tract of land out of the W. D. Penny
Survey, Abstract 696 presently zoned agriculture
is hereby changed as follows: The front three
acres is hereby changed to Single Family-2 and
the remaining 4.038 acres are hereby changed to
Industrial.
SECTION 2.
The fact that it is necessary to change a part of
Agricultural property to Single Family 2 and
Industrial, and that time is of the essence creates
an emergency and imperative public necessity; this
ordinance is to take effect immediately.

Dear Wylie City Council:
We are requesting annexation into the City of Wylie for 7.038 acres
of land with 243 foot frontage on Parker Road, Highway 2514, being
part of W.D. Penny survey Abstract 696.

At this time there is no water service to this property; however,
Mr. Jesus Espinosa has tendered a legal contract with earnest money
to purchase this property from the current owners Douglas L. and
Geraldine l>laldo.
Concurrent with this request for annexation into the City of Wylie,
we request the front 3 acres on Parker Road be zoned residential and
the back 4 acres be zoned light industrial.
Mr. Espinosa wishes to store his business equipment, i.e., dump truck,
,front end loader, on the light industrial zoned land.
Please inform us of' any additional information you may ,need.
