Ordinance 1983-06 ORDINANCE NO. 83-6 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE 81-5 SO THAT A PART OF AGRICULTURAL PROPERTY IS CHANGED TO SINGLE FAMILY AND INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WYLIE, TEXAS: SECTION 1. After the necessary notices have been given in the manner and for the length of time required by law and after a public hearing on the matter, it is ordered by the City Council that the hereinafter described property be classified as follows: A 7.038 acre tract of land out of the W. D. Penny Survey, Abstract 696 presently zoned agriculture is hereby changed as follows: The front three acres is hereby changed to Single Family-2 and the remaining 4.038 acres are hereby changed to Industrial. SECTION 2. The fact that it is necessary to change a part of Agricultural property to Single Family 2 and Industrial, and that time is of the essence creates an emergency and imperative public necessity; this ordinance is to take effect immediately.
