AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF WYLIE, TEXAS, AMENDING
THE COMPREHENSIVE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF
WYLIE, TEXAS, AS HERETOFORE AMENDED (ORDINANCE NO.
81-5), TO CHANGE THE ZONiNG ONrHE HEREINAF1ER
DESCRIBED PF<OPERTY TO THE NEW 70Nlf% CLASSIFICATION
HEREIN STATED; PROVIDING A REPEALING CLAUSE; PROVIDING
A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; PROVIDING PENALTIES FOR VIOLATION
OF THIS ORDINANCE NOT TO EXCEED THE SUM OF TWO HUNDRED
DOLLARS ($200.00) FOR EACH OFFENSE; AND DECLARING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.

Governing Body is of the opinion that the said change of zoning which 1S on

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WYLIE,
TEX/\S:
SECTION 1. That the COlllprehensive Zoning Ordinance of the City of Wylie,
Texas, be and the same is hereby amended by illllendi ng the Zoni ng t~ap 0 f tfl(~ Ci ty
of Wylie, to give the hereinafter described property a new zoning district
classification to-wit:

BEING a tract of land situated in the S.B. Shelby Survey, Abstract No. 820,
in the City of Wylie, Collin County, Texas, and being more particularly
described as follows:
BEGINNING at a point in the South R.O.W. line of F.M. 3412 (a 90' R.O.W.);
THENCE N 880 301 W, a distance of 160.0 feet to a point of curvature to the
right, said curve having a central angle of 600 03' and a radius of 98.85 feet;
THENCE along said curve, an arc distance of 100.45 feet to a point of tangency;
THENCE 5 280 27' E, a distance of 121.12 feet to a point for a corner;
THENCE N 890 13' W, a distance of 154.02 feet to a point for corner;
THENCE S 1036' W, a distance of 90.04 to a point for a corner;
THENCE N 890 13' W, a distance of 149.45 feet to a point for a corner;
THENCE N 10 30' E, a distance fa 250.00 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING
and containing 52,624 square feet or 1.208 acres of land.

of this ordinance be, and the same are hereby, repealed and all other ordinilnces

SECTION 5. That any person, firm or corporation violating any of the
provisions or terms of this ordinance shal'l be subject to the same penalty
dS provided for in the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinilnce of the City, as hereto-
fore amended, and upon conviction shall be punished by fine not to exceed the
SUlll of tv/O hundred dollars ($200.00) for each offense, and that each day sudl
viulation shall continue to exist shall constitute a separate offense.
SECTION 6. It is necessary to give the property described herein the
above Illentioned zoning classification in order to perllrit its proper develop-
ment and in order to protect the pub 1 i c i nteres t, comfort and genera 1 l'le 1 far'e
of the City. Therefore, this ordinance shall take effect immediately from
and after its passage and publication of its caption, as the law in such
cases provides.
