Ordinance 1984-09 ORDINANCE 84-9 An Ordinance adopting the Uniform Act Regulating Traffic on Highways, providing a penalty, providing a severance clause and providing for publication. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WYLIE, TEXAS: All provisions of the Uniform Act Regulating Traffic on Highways, as now in effect in the state and generally referred to as Vernon's Annotated Civil Statutes, article 670ld, including all amendments to such statute, are hereby adopted to the same extent as if they have been here in enumerated. Penalty Clause: Any person, firm or corporation who shall violate any of the provisions of this ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and, upon conviction, shall be fined in a sum not exceeding two hundred dollars ($200), and each and everyday's violation shall constitute a separate and distinct offence. Severance Clause: All ordinances or parts of the ordinance in conflict herewith are specifically repealed and are superseded by this ordinance. All other parts of such ordinances are not repealed. Publication Clause: The caption of this ordinance to be published one time in a newspaper having general circulation in the (ity of Wylie, and to become effective immediately upon its passage and publication.
