WYLIE, TEXAS
m June 17, 1952
At a call meeting of the council all members of the council were present.
The secretary read the mbodzbar resignation of John T. Hic1nnim, City
Marshall.
A motion was made by R.V. Groves and seconed by C.W. Taylor that Mr. Hickman
resignation be accepted. Motion carried.
A motion was made by J.E. Bowden and seconed by R.V. Groves that the Mayors
apointment of J.H. Edgington as temporary Marshall be accepted. Motion carried.
It was agreed that Mr. Edgington' was to collect the night watch fee.
A motion was made by J.E. Bowden and seconed by C.W. Taylor the the election
of City Marshall be postponed until after the next regular meeting. Motion carried.
With no further business the eouncil adjourned to meet again at the next regular or
call meeting.
