WYLIE, TEXAS
Sept. 15, 1952
The City Council of this city met in regular session on the above date
with the following members of the council being present. Mayor J.A. Benton
Aldermen, A.D. Boyd, J.E. Bowden, C.W. Taylor, J.W. Nicholson, and secretary
W.W. Housewright.
The minutes of the August meeting were read and approved.
All bills were ordered paid.
There was a lenghty discussion made in regard to the spray atachment that the
City has been discussing for some time with no definite action being taken.
It was discussed about building a fence on the dump place at Walter Bellmyerts
farm to keep the cans from scattering. Members of the council were to check
into the matter and see if there would be enough dumping room to justify the
building of the fence.
There was a discussion in regard to reserving a place for the mail carrier
in front of the post office. There was no action taken on this matter.
There was a discussion with no action taken in regard to the building of
a jail house.

The sanitary ordinance that was presented at the last meeting was discussed
with the first four sections being passed, the fifth section being ruled out
and the sixth section being post poned for further consideration. Motions were
made on the first three sections mmt by J.W. Nicholson and duly seconed by
A.D. Boyd, C.W. Taylor, and A.D. Boyd respectfully. C.W. Taylor made the motion
and was seconed by J.W. Nicholson on the fourth section. All merithr motiens
carried.
No further business the council adjourned to meet again at the next regular
or call meeting.
