ORDINANCE NO. g'8,- Z 0 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF WYLIE, TEXAS, ESTABLISHING NEW RATES FOR THE COLLECTION OF 911 EMERGENCY SERVICE FEES AND AMENDING SECTIONS OF ORDINANCE NO. 87-61. WHEREAS, it is necessary for the City of Wylie to impose 911 emergency service fees to provide for the purchase, installation, operation and maintenance of 911 emergency communications systems; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Wylie has approved the purchase of new 911 emergency communications systems and has adopted a resolution to reimburse the expenditure with proceeds of future debt; and WHEREAS, the rate of the 911 emergency service fee establised in Ordinance No. 87 -61 is not adequate to provide for the purchase, installation, operation and maintenance of the new 911 emergency communications systems; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WYLIE, TEXAS that Ordinance No. 87-61 be amended and that the new monthly rates for the collection of 911 emergency service fees shall be: $ 1.22 per line for residential access lines, $ 2.93 per line for business access lines, $ 4.47 per trunk for trunk access lines.
