AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF WYLIE, TEXAS
ORDINANCE NO. 8a; l- 50
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF WYLIE, TEXAS,
PROVIDINIG FOR EXTENDING THE PROVISIONS OF
ORDINANCE NO. 2001-42 FOR AN ADDITIONAL NINETY DAY
PERIOD FROM THE DATE OF PASSAGE OF TIDS
ORDINANCE; PROVIDING A REPEALING CLAUSE;
PROVIDING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; AND PROVIDING
FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City of Wylie City Council adopted Ordinance No. 2001-42 on or about the 11th
day of September, 2001 which provided for the imposition of impact fees in accordance with Senate Bill
243; and
WHEREAS, the provisions of said Ordinance were to expire on or about the 11th day of
December, 2001; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council now desires to extend the provisions of the Ordinance for an
additional ninety (90) day period to allow time for the holding of public hearings and complete
compliance;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WYLIE, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That the provisions of Ordinance No. 2001-42, adopted by the City Council
on the 11th day of September, 2001, shall be extended for a period of ninety (90) days from the date
of passage of this ordinance.
SECTION 2. All provisions of the ordinances of the City of Wylie in conflict with the
provisions of this ordinance be, and the same are hereby, repealed, and all other provisions of the
ordinances of the City of Wylie not in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance shall remain in full
force and effect.
SECTION 3. Should any sentence, paragraph, subdivision, clause, phrase or section of this
ordinance be adjudged or held to be unconstitutional, illegal or invalid, the same shall not affect the
validity of this ordinance as a whole, or any part or provision thereof other than the part so decided to be
invalid, illegal or unconstitutional, and shall not affect the validity of the Code of Ordinances of the City
of Wylie, Texas.
SECTION 4. That this ordinance shall take effect as provided by law.
