DISCUSSION ITEMS
DS1. A presentation by three semi-final artists will take place for proposals for the Municipal Walking Trails,
Phase 2. (2 sites) The public is invited to make comments to the semi-final artists who will be in attendance,
regarding what they would like to see as the history of the Blackland Prairie and Caddo tribes that hunted the
land years ago. These pieces will be located at two sites behind Wylie City Hall and the Recreation Center
along the walking trails.
A recommendation will be taken following discussion to the Public Arts Advisory Board for the final artist
for each site. Semi-final artists include: Eric Nubbe Yoshi Wright,and Patrick Sullivan.A quorum of the T
the Public Art Advisory Board may be present for the presentations but will take no action. The board will
meet immediately after the selection panel to discuss the finalists and take action for a recommendation to
the City Council for approval of the final artists.
REGULAR AGENDA
1. The selection panel, after seeing all proposals will recommend one artist for each of the two Municipal
Walking Trails site to the Public Arts Advisory Board. The PAAB will meet immediately after this meeting
to consider the recommendations for City Council approval.
2. Consider and act upon the approval of the 08-10-2023 Municipal Walking Trails, Phase 2 Artist Input
