WHEREAS, the Public Funds Investment Act, as amended, requires the City of Wylie to adopt the investment policy by rule, order, ordinance or resolution; and WHEREAS, the Investment Policy was approved December 12, 2006; and WHEREAS, the Investment Policy complies with the Texas Government Code, Chapter 2256, Public Funds Investment Act, Subchapter A Authorized Investments for Governmental Entities and Subchapter B Miscellaneous Provisions as amended, and authorizes the investment of City funds in safe and prudent investments.
