Regular City Council Meeting
September 28, 1971
The City .Council met in regular session Sept. 28, 1971 in the City
Hall at 7 :3 0 P. M.
Present : Mayor Hackler; Aldermen Davis, Addicks, Mauk, Thomas, and
Dodd. City Managher Mathis, City Water Supt. Allen and City Secy.
Oneida Gallagher.
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Hackler. Motion by Ald.
Addicks and seconded by Ald. Mauk to make a Resolution on Bank Notes
at Wylie First State Bank in the amount of $3, 500.00. All Ayes.
Motion by Alderman Addicks and seconded by Alderman Davis to draw
a Resolution to route all heavy trucks from Jackson Street to come
down Ballard Street from Brown Street North and Hwy. 78 South.

In reference to stop sigh on Hilltop and Butler Streets requested
by Mr. Durst. Request denied by Council.
Motion by Alderman Mauk and seconded by Alderman Addicks to purchased
a new Fire Truck in the amount of S22, 595.00 from Boardman Company,
W. A. Neal & Associates, Waco, Texas. This Fire Truck was recommended
by the Wylie Fire Department. Financing to be secured from Wylie
-- First State Bank on delivery date.
Council on motion by Alderman Addicks and seconded by Alderman Mauk
to secure Charles T. McCroy for the 1971 City audit. Unanimous Ayes.
Mayor Hackler explained Special Meeting of Septembe r 27, 1971.
Meeting adjourned 8:45 P. M.
