10-03-1907 (City Council) Minutes Wylie Tex. Oct 3d 1907 The town council of Wylie Texas met in regular session on Oct 3d at Taylor Birminghamis store. Mayor J. W. Russell presiding. At roll call the following responded. Mayor J. W. Russell, Marshal A. Brown, Treas. J. W. Amis, Alderman, J. J. Hollomon, J. A. Hammett, and C. J. Gallasher. R. Jackson arrived a few minutes later. Minutes of previous meeting read and accepted. Matters of unfinished business were taken up relative to notices mailed and served by Marshal A. Brown in last month and each being passed on separately. The following were passed up as either repaired or promised to be at earliest convenience; Mrs J. H. Pickett, Housewright Co, W. H. 99799, J. H. Day(for Pinos), Mrs S. S. Bowman, G. W. Owens & Co W. J. Brown, ??? Corzine, and T.O. Staples. Chris Dunbin and M.M. Hackler were extended 30 days more time on notices given them. By motion and second the following were to be given 10 days notice to repair walks as stated in previous notices given them; G. C. & S F Ry Co, J. H. Burns, and G W Owens & Co. Motioned and seconded that the following be given notice to appear before the next regular meeting of council and show cause why sidewalks are not built or repaired R.L. Stone agent for Rhodes property, I. F. Brooks walk in front of his house property and Ed Neilon walk south from R. R. Housewrights Report of street committee, also, of Sect. L.A. Powell, Marshal A. Brown, and Treas G. W. Amis read and approved. By motion and second the following accounts were allowed; Randle ???? Co for oil &lay bricks 1.30 Marshall A.
