03-15-1935 (City Council) Minutes March 15th 1935
The City Council of the City of wylie Texas meet in regular session with all members
being present.
The Minutes of last meeting was read and approved.
There was a motion& sec before the house to accept J.A. Hammett"appointed as a
committee of one" report on purchase of old TP&L light bill against the city for .50 cents
on the $1.00.
Motion Carried.
Motion & Sec to have TP&L Co to put in a street light in front of the white way south of
Santa Fa Depot on highway.
Motion Carried.
Motion & Sec to accept J.C. Jennings regisnation as city water collector. Motion Carried.
J.R. Jones was appointed by the Mayor to fill out J.C. Jennings unexpired term of one
month as water collector.
Motion & Sec to permit all churches and all other organizations to use the canning
equipment at the city hall. Motion Carried. By request of the Mayor Tuesday March 26th
was set as clean up day for the city.
Motion & Sec all bills be allowed.
