09-16-1935 (City Council) Minutes Sept. 16th 1935. A Regular Meeting.
The City Council of the Town of Wylie met in regular session in the city Hall with all
Members being present except Homer Burch.
The Minutes of the last regular meeting an the Minutes of the Call Meeting on Sept 31d
1935 was read and approved. After some lengthy discussions there was a New Ordinance
passed governing Auctioneers selling anything of value for profit within the Corporate
limits of the city of Wylie Texas. An ordinance levying an anual Tax of Fifteen"$15.00"
Dollars against every auctioneer selling anything of value for profit within the corporate
limits of the city of Wylie Texas providing a penalty for the violation there of Repealing
section 8 of the revised civil and criminal Ordinances of the city of Wylie Texas Adopted
January 6th 1904 and declaring an emergency. See Copy of Ordinance attached
Motion & Second that ordinance be passed as read. Motion Carried-
Motion & Second all bills be allowed paid as read. Motion Carried.
