CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order by board member Cassie Dyson at 6:04 pm. Board members present
included:Steve Shank, Gloria Suarez, and Manoj Padhi. Board members Chantelle McMurrian, Afshan
Khan, and Esther Bellah were absent.
PAAB Liason Julie Pannell also attended.
COMMENTS ON NON -AGENDA ITEMS
Any member of the public may address Council regarding an item that is not listed on the Agenda. Members of the
public must fill out a form prior to the meeting in order to speak. Council requests that comments be limited to three
minutes for an individual, six minutes for a group. In addition, Council is not allowed to converse, deliberate or take
action on any matter presented during citizen participation.
No citizens came forward.
DISCUSSION ITEMS
All matters listed under the Consent Agenda are considered to be routine by the City Council and will be enacted by
one motion. There will not be separate discussion of these items. If discussion is desired, that item will be removed
from the Consent Agenda and will be considered separately.
A. Walking Trails Phase 2, (Yoshi Wright) Update
Board Discussion
PAAB Liason Pannell updated the board on communications with artist Wright about proposed repairs to
the Sacred Fire piece. Board members expressed concern about the piece having a darker hue where it
was burned. The board proposed that artist Wright re-create the sculpture's base where the damage is
located. PAAB Liason Pannell will reach out to ciy management for feedback regarding next steps.
B. Walking Trails Phase 3, (Sonny Behan) Update
Board Discussion
PAAB Liason Pannell updated the board artist Behan's sign contract was received, reviewed, and
accepted by the city. Behan's first milestone payment has been issued.
C. Walking Trails Phase 3 (2), (Seth Vandable) update
Board Discussion
PAAB Liason Pannell updated the board artist Vandable's signed contract was received, reviewed, and
accepted by the city. Vandable's first milestone payment has been issued.
REGULAR AGENDA
1. Consider, and act upon, The Public Arts Advisory Board minutes from 2-20-2025.
Board Action
A motion was made by board member Shank, seconded by board member Padhi to approve the February
20, 2025 minutes, as presented. A vote was taken and the motion passed 4-0 with board members
McMurrian, Bellah, and Khan absent.
ADJOURNMENT

A motion was made by board member Suraez, seconded by board member Shank to adjourn the meeting
at 6:18 pm. A vote was taken and the motion passed 4-0 with board members M an, Bellah, and
Khan absent.
