A RESOLUTION OF THE PARKS & RECREATION BOARD
WHEREAS, The City of Wylie Parks & Recreation Board has pursued a goal
of providing adequate and community wide planning for Recreational
Facilities; and,
WHEREAS, The culmination of this planning has resulted in a comprehen-
sive plan and project to develop a multi-purpose park facility; and,
WHEREAS, Funding assistance from the Texas Parks and Wildlife Depart-
ment is practically assured for this project; and,
WHEREAS, The City of Wylie will also have a responsibility to help
fund this project; and,
WHEREAS, Members of the Park & Recreation Board feel strongly that the
Citizens of Wylie should ratify, by vote a plan such as this; Now,
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PARKS & RECREATION BOARD;
SECTION 1: That the Parks and Recreation Board respectively request
the Wylie City Council to call an election of the people to ratify
The City of Wylie portion of Funding the "Wylie Community Center Park."
