Resolution 81-82-03-04 RESOLUTION NO. 81-82-3-4 WHEREAS, Mr. Raymond Rose, P.O. Box 807, Wylie, Texas 75098, has applied for a permit to operate a commuter bus line between Wylie and downtown Dallas, and WHEREAS, the Wylie City Council realizes the importance of conserving energy and reducing the number of motor vehicles which are used by Wylie citizens to commute to their jobs in Dallas, and WHEREAS, the Wylie City Council believes it will be of benefit to the people of Wylie to have this commuter bus service available to them, NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WYLIE, TEXAS: Section 1. That the Wylie City Council go on record as favoring the granting of the application for the permit to operate a commuter bus line between Wylie and downtown Dallas. Section 2. That a certified copy of this resolution be forwarded to the Texas Railroad Commission with a letter of transmittal from the Mayor urging favorable consideration of the application sub- mitted by Mr. Rose. DULY RESOLVED ON THIS, THE 22ND DAY OF MARCH, A.D. 1982.
