A RESOLUTION AND ORDER CANVASSING THE RETURNS AND DECLARING
THE RESULTS OF A CITY ELECTION.
There came on to be considered the returns of an election
held on the 6th day of April, 1985 for the purpose of
electing the hereinafter named officials, and it appearing
from said returns, duly and legally made, that there were
cast at said election 298 valid and legal votes; that each
of the candidates in said election received the following

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WYLIE, TEXAS:
That said election was duly called; that notice of said
election was given in accordance with law, and that said
election was held in accordance with law, and that Don
Hughes, Harold Spence, and Joe Fulgham were duly elected to
said respective offices. subject to the takin(} of their
(~ath~~; o.f off:ice as pr"ovided by the J.aws; of tt18 State of
Teyas and the City UT Wylie.
It is further found and determined that in accordance with
the order of this Qoverninq body that the City Secretary

posted written notice of the date, place and subject of this
meeting on the front window of City Hall, a place convenient
to the public, and said notice having been so posted and
remaining posted continuously for at least 72 hours
preceding the date ot this meeting.
A copy of the return of
said posting shall be attached to the minutes of this
meeting and shall be made a part thereof for all intents and
