Resolution 88-01-26-88-01 RESOLUTION NO. 88-1-26-88-1 RESOLUTION FOR THE CITY OF WYLIE, TEXAS, ESTABLISHING A LEASE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF WYLIE AND LIFELINE CHRISTIAN CARE AMBULANCES, INC. WHEREAS, the City of Wylie and Lifeline Christian Care Ambulances, Inc. (Lifeline) entered into a contract on December 15, 1987 for emergency ambulance services for the city; and WHEREAS, police dispatch and patrol services will be moving in the next few days into the new municipal complex located at 2000 Hwy 78 N, and WHEREAS, Lifeline wishes to lease from the City certain real property and improvements at the new municipal complex for operation of its emergency medical services for the City, and WHEREAS, Lifeline proposes to enter into a formal written agreement that sets out the terms and conditions of leasing Room #104, approximately 300 square feet at $10.19 per square foot for a period of one year, and WHEREAS, it is the desire of the city staff to proceed with the lease agreement and allow Lifeline to move into the new facilities within the next seven (7) days, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WYLIE, TEXAS: SECTION 1 That the city manager shall proceed with drawing up a written lease agreement between the City of Wylie (City) and Lifeline Christian Care Ambulances, Inc. (Lifeline) for their usage of Room 104 at $10.19 per square foot (excluding phone) for a period of one (1) year. SECTION 2 That Lifeline be allowed to move into the new municipal complex and operate its emergency medical services for the city from this facility pending approval and execution of the contract by both parties.
