RESOLUTION NO. 89-2-23-89
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF WYLIE, TEXAS SUPPORTING
THE AUTHORIZATION FOR COLLIN COUNTY, TEXAS TO
TRANSFER FUNDS FROM THE SPRING CREEK PARKWAY
PROJECT TO THE SANDEN BOULEVARD PROJECT TO OFF-SET
EXPENDITURES IN EXCESS OF THE EXISTING SANDEN
BOULEVARD PROJECT FUND NECESSARY TO COMPLETE THE
SANDEN BOULEVARD PROJECT:
WHEREAS, The City Council agrees that the Sanden Boulevard Project
currently has $847,500.00 designated to said fund; and,
WHEREAS, The City Council agrees that the Spring Creek Parkway
Project currently has $1,080,000.00 designated to said
fund; and,
WHEREAS, The City Council agrees that Collin County is in receipt
of a bid proposal from L. H. Lacy Company in the amount
of $751,049.20 for the construction of Sanden Boulevard;
and,
WHEREAS, The City Council agrees that Collin County will need
approximately $150,000.00 to cover the costs of the
railroad grade crossing, engineering design services,
construction staking, construction material testing,
construction inspection and contingencies:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WYLIE, TEXAS THAT
The transfer by Collin County, Texas of an amount not to
exceed $150,000.00 from the funds designated for the
Spring Creek Parkway Project to the Sanden Boulevard
Project in order to take advantage of the good bid
proposal of L. H. Lacy Company and to fulfill the desire
of the Citizens of Wylie and Collin County to construct
Sanden Boulevard from FM 544 South to State Highway 78.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WYLIE, TEXAS,
THIS THE 23RD DAY OF FEBRUARY, 1989.
