Resolution 2025-23 RESOLUTION NO. 2025-23(R)
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WYLIE, TEXAS,
TO PROVIDE SANITARY SEWER SERVICE TO FIRST STEP HOMES FOR A
PROPOSED PROJECT (VECINA) LOCATED OUTSIDE OF THE CITY LIMITS
NEAR THE INTERSECTION OF E. FM 544 AND WHEELIS ROAD, AND
AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO NEGOTIATE A WASTEWATER
SERVICE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY AND FIRST STEP HOMES
SUBJECT TO FINAL APPROVAL BY THE CITY COUNCIL.
WHEREAS,First Step Homes has identified a potential project locati ed outside City limits
of Wylie; and
WHEREAS, the site is not located in the City of Wylie Extra Territori urisdi and
WHEREAS, First Step Homes has requested that they be allowed to c ct the site t City of
Wylie sanitary sewer system; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVEILBY THE TY UN0jL O THE CITY OF
WYLIE,TEXAS:
SECTION 1. The City Council does hereby app e req Step Homes to connect
the proposed project (Vecina) located near the intersecti o 544 a heelis Road to the City of
Wylie sanitary sewer system.
SECTION 2. First Step Homes wi resp for a cost associated with connecting the
proposed project(Vecina)located near the i ction of 4 and Wheelis Road to the City of Wylie
sanitary sewer system.
SECTION 3. The City age the Cit ylie, Texas is hereby authorized to negotiate on
behalf of the City Council of the ity ylie,, ex Wastewater Service Agreement between the City
of Wylie, Texas, tep s, subject final approval by the City Council.
