Resolution 00-15 RESOLUTION NO. 2000-15 (R) A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF WYLIE, TEXAS, REQUESTING THAT THE NORTH TEXAS MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT (NTMWD) MOVE FORWARD WITH THE IMPLEMENT A TION OF THE PROGRAM WHICH INCLUDES FILING OF A TNRCC PERMIT REQUEST ALONG WITH THE DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION OF A FIVE (5) MILLION GALLON PER DAY WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT. WHEREAS, The City of Wylie approved on April 27, 1999 execution of a contract titled Muddy Creek Regional Wastewater System Contract; and WHEREAS, the City of Wylie is in receipt of a report prepared by The Hogan Corporation titled Muddy Creek Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant; and WHEREAS, the City of Murphy has executed a similar contract and is in receipt of the same report as referenced above; and WHEREAS, it is necessary to move forward with the development of said wastewater system improvements, and NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Wylie requests the NTMWD to move forward with the implementation of the program which includes filing of a TNRCC permit request along with the design and construction of a five (5) million gallon per day wastewater treatment plant and the NTMWD is further requested to move forward with the financing of the project and issuance of revenue bond in the approximate amount of$15,000,000.
