CALL TO ORDER
Chairman Phillip Johnston called the meeting to order at 6:35PM. Present with Chairman
Johnston were, Vice Chairman Dennis Larson, Commissioner Willie Osborne,
Commissioner Ruthie Wright, and Commissioner David Dahl. Commissioner Ramona
Kopchenko arrived late.
Staff present was Renae' 011ie, Planning Director, Jasen Haskins, Assistant Planner, and
Mary Bradley, Administrative Assistant.
INVOCATION& PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
Commissioner Dahl gave the invocation and Commissioner Wright led the Pledge of
Allegiance.
CITIZENS COMMENTS
Chairman Johnston opened the Citizens Participation. With no one approaching the
Commissioners, Chairman Johnston closed the Citizens Participation.
CONSENT ITEMS
1. Consider and act upon approval of the Minutes from the November 17,
2009, Regular Meeting.
A motion was made by Commissioner Osborne, and seconded by Vice-Chair Larson, to
approve the minutes from November 17, 2009 Regular Meeting, as submitted. Motion
carried 5 —0, with Commissioner Kopchenko arriving after the vote.

REGULAR AGENDA
Action Agenda
1. Consider a recommendation to the City Council regarding a Replat for
Ben Nobles Addition. Subject property being generally located on the
northwest corner of Thomas Street and Pirate Drive.
Mr. Haskins stated that the property totals 2.599 acres and will create one lot. The
property is zoned Single Family (SF10/24) and was originally platted as Lots 3 and 4 of
the Ben Nobles Addition in May 2006. The four lots within this addition were never
developed.
The applicant proposes to develop the property as a daycare facility. A Specific Use
Permit is required for a daycare facility, which will be considered by the Commission on
March 2, 2010.
No development plans have been submitted for the remaining two lots of the original Ben
Nobles Addition.
A motion was made by Commissioner Kopchenko, and seconded by Commissioner
Osborne, to recommend approval to the City Council for a Replat creating one residential
lot for the Medeiros Addition. Property generally located on the northwest corner of
Thomas Street and Pirate Drive. Motion carried 6—0.
ADJOURNMENT
A motion was made by Commissioner Dahl, and seconded by Vice-Chairman Larson, to
adjourn the meeting at 6:44PM. All Commissioners were in consensus.
