ALTERNATIVE RATE SCHEDULES
RATE SCHEDULE A
24 per cent across-the-board increase applied to both the water and
sewer minimum charge and the water and sewer volume charge. Increase
also applies to minimum sewer charge for non-residential customers and
the sewer fee charged for each apartment unit, occupied mobile home
space and other special customers.
RATE SCHEDULE B
No change in the minimum charges for water or sewer service. No change
in the volume charge for sewer service. Increase water volume charge
to $ 2.40 per 1,000 gallons for all customers using more than 2,000
gallons per month. No change in the water volume charge for customers
using 2,000 gallons or less per month.
Flat rate "pass through" sewer charge per month as follows:
Residential customers:
0 to 2,000 gallons $ 2.00
Over 2,000 gallons 5.00
Non-residential customers 7.50
RATE SCHEDULE C
No change in the monthly minimum charge for water service. Increase
water volume charge to $ 2.05 per 1,000 gallons for all customers
using in excess of 1,000 gallons per month.
Increase monthly minimum charge for sewer service to $ 8.00. Increase
volume charge for sewer service to $ 1.41 per 1,000 gallons for
customers using in excess of 1,000 gallons of water per month.
Increase monthly minimum for non-residential sewer customers to
$ 16.00. Increase sewer fee for each apartment unit, occupied mobile
home space and others on master meter to $ 15.00.
Flat rate "pass through" sewer charge per month as follows:
Residential customers:
0 to 2,000 gallons $ 2.00
Over 2,000 gallons 5.00
Non-residential customers 7.50

Water Rates
a. The following monthly water rates shall apply to all customers

metered water consumption)
Volume charge for all consumption exceeding 1,000 2.25
gallons per month (per 1,000 gallons)
Sewage Collection and Treatment Rates
a. The following monthly sewage collection and treatment
rates shall apply to all residential customers of the
City of Wylie, Texas with a maximum charge of $ 29.54
per month.
Monthly minimum charge (first 1,000 gallons of $ 8.68
metered water consumption)
Volume charge for all consumption exceeding 1,000 1.49
gallons per month (per 1,000 gallons)
b. A $ 17.36 minimum monthly sewage collection and treat-
ment charge for non-residential customers shall be in
accordance with the above schedule, but with no maxi-
mum. Any industrial waste surcharge shall be in addition
to the above schedule and in accordance with the details
of the Industrial Waste Ordinance.
c. Sewer Fee - A sewer fee of $ 16.12 shall be charged for
each apartment unit, multiple family unit or occupied
mobile home space and special areas such as washaterias,
swimming pools, etc. where the apartment, multiple family
development or mobile home park is on a master meter
with the City of Wylie.

Water Rates

metered water consumption)
Volume charge for all consumption exceeding 1,000
gallons per month (per 1,000 gallons) :
1,001 to 2,000 gallons 1.82
Over 2,000 gallons 2.40
Sewage Collection and Treatment Rates
a. The following monthly sewage collection and treatment
rates shall apply to all residential customers of the
City of Wylie, Texas with a maximum charge of $ 23.80
per month.
Monthly minimum charge (first 1,000 gallons of $ 7.00
metered water consumption)
Volume charge for all consumption exceeding 1,000 1.20
gallons per month (per 1,000 gallons)
b. A $ 14.00 minimum monthly sewage collection and treat-
ment charge for non-residential customers shall be in
accordance with the above schedule, but with no maxi-
mum. Any industrial waste surcharge shall be in addition
to the above schedule and in accordance with the details
of the Industrial Waste Ordinance.
c. Sewer Fee - A sewer fee of $ 13.00 shall be charged for
each apartment unit, multiple family unit or occupied

mer account in order to recover the projected annual
increase in costs related to operation, maintenance and
expansion of the City's wastewater treatment plant. In
fiscal year 1988-89, this "pass through" charge shall be
applied as follows:

home space and special areas such as washaterias,
swimming pools, etc. where the apartment, multi-
ple family development or mobile home park is on
a master meter with the City of Wylie (per month) .
