01-17-1994 (Planning & Zoning) Minutes MINUTES The Planning and Zoning Commission met in a Regular Business Meeting on January 17, 1994 at 6:30 p.m. in the conference room of the Wylie Municipal Complex, located at 2000 Highway 78 North, Wylie, Texas 75098. A quorum was present and a notice was posted in the time and manner required by Law. COMMISSION MEMBERS PRESENT: Chairman, Bart Peddicord; Vice Chairman, Mike Hawkins; Stuart Allison, Rich Eckman, John Crowe, and Cleo Adams. ABSENT: Bobby Jennings, excused. STAFF MEMBERS PRESENT: Building Official, Russell Wyman CALL TO ORDER: Chairman Bart Peddicord caled the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. ACTION ITEMS ITEM NO. 1: Consider approval of the Minutes from the November 15, and December 6, 1993 Regular Business Meetings. A Motion was made by Cleo Adams and Seconded by Mike Hawkins to approve the Minutes as submitted. Motion carried, all in favor ( 6 votes). ITEM NO. 2 Discuss and review proposed Comprehensive Plan. Staff briefed the Commission on the status of the documents submitted to date, being the first draft of the Comprehensive Plan presented by Espey, Huston & Associates, Inc. The Commission was informed by staff that the submittal had been returned to said firm by the City Manager with comments attached as to the inadequacies of the document. The Commission voiced their displeasure with their first viewing of this document and voiced their concerns over the fact that they have been unable to provide any input nor have been provided with any additional information to further the development of the Comprehensive Plan. Chairman Peddicord asked staff to relay their concerns to the City Manager. Motion was made by Mike Hawkins and Seconded by Rich Eckman tabling this agenda item and putting it on a future agenda when more information is available. Motion carried, all in favor ( 6 votes). CITIZEN PARTICIPATION: None ADJOURN: Chairman Peddicord adjourned the meeting. Motion carried all in favor ( 6 votes ).
