CALL TO ORDER
Chairman Phillip Johnston called the meeting to order at 6:30PM. Present with Chairman
Johnston were, Vice-Chairman Commissioner Gilbert Tamez, Commissioner Ruthie
Wright, Commissioner Matt Kirk, Commissioner Ramona Kopchenko, Commissioner
David Dahl and Commissioner Ron Smith.
Staff present was Renae' 011ie, Planning Director, Charles Lee, Senior Planner, Jasen
Haskins, Assistant Planner,and Mary Bradley, Administrative Assistant.

INVOCATION & PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
Sam Satterwhite, Wylie Economic Development Director gave the invocation and
Commissioner Kopchenko led the Pledge of Allegiance.
CITIZENS COMMENTS
Chairman Johnston opened the Citizens Participation. With no one approaching the
Commissioners, Chairman Johnston closed the Citizens Participation.
CONSENT ITEMS
1. Consider and act upon approval of the Minutes from the November 1,
2011,Regular Meeting.
A motion was made by Commissioner Tamez, and seconded by Commissioner Wright, to
approve the minutes from November 1, 2011 Regular Meeting, as submitted. Motion
carried 7—0.

1. Consider and act upon approval of a Site Plan for Premier Industrial Park
North, Lot 3A-1R for the development of a warehouse/distribution center
generally located north of Hensley Lane and approximately 852 feet west
of Sanden Boulevard(911 Hensley Lane).
Mr. Lee stated that the Site Plan is for a proposed 61,152 square foot facility. The
property is owned by WEDC, and is zoned Light Industrial (LI) District on 3.21
acres. A warehouse/distribution center is allowed by right within the LI District.
The property is located at 911 Hensley Lane and approximately 852 west of
Sanden Boulevard.
Mr. Sam Satterwhite, WEDC, stated that the WEDC would convey the property
to the applicant, Multi-Machining. Multi-Machining currently has two facilities,
which will be combined at the proposed location.
A motion was made by Commissioner Kopchenko, and seconded by
Commissioner Smith, to approve the Site Plan for Premier Industrial Park North,
Lot 3A-1R for the development of a warehouse/distribution center generally
located north of Hensley Lane and approximately 852 feet west of Sanden
Boulevard(911 Hensley Lane). Motion carried 7—0.
2. Consider and act upon a Site Plan for 1009 Alanis Drive being Lot 1
Block 1 of Ronald Martinez Addition. a property of 0.3188 acres located
on the northeast corner of Martinez Lane and Alanis Drive.
Mr. Haskins stated that the applicant is proposing to construct a 1,600 square foot Light
Assembly and Fabrication facility, more specifically a Custom Cabinet Shop. The
property is zoned Light Industrial (LI) District and Light Assembly and Fabrication is an
allowed use.
The Final Plat was approved by the City Council on October 11,2011.
With no questions for the applicant or staff, a motion was made by Commissioner Tamez,
and seconded by Commissioner Wright, to approve the Site Plan for 1009 Alanis Drive
being Lot 1 Block 1 of Ronald Martinez Addition, a property of 0.3188 acres located on
the northeast corner of Martinez Lane and Alanis Drive. Motion carried 7—0.
Commissioner Tamez congratulated the staff and all those involved with the City, for
winning the Top 100 Best Places to Work in Dallas Fort Worth area.

ADJOURNMENT
A motion was made by Commissioner Smith, and seconded by Commissioner Dahl, to
adjourn the meeting at 6:46PM. All Commissioners were in consensus.
