STATEMENT OF INTENT
It is the intent of this ordinance that the rates for the
various classes of service in Wylie be no higher than those in
the attached ordinance. Further, it is the intention of this
ordinance that any adopted and accepted second tier rate structure
for other cities within the Dallas Metro calling area served by
General Telephone Company of the Southwest that is, in the council's
opinion, more favorable to the subscribers of this city, then that
schedule of rates will apply instead of those listed in this
ordinance.
The effective date of the new rates shall be at the time
of acceptance by other "second tier" cities or at such time as
mutually agreed by the city council of the City of Wylie and
General Telephone Company, whichever occurs first.
