At a regular meeting of the City Council; City of Wylie on the
above date, all members were present.
The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.
A motion was made by C.G. Housewright and seconed by John
Sharp that the parsons owning property from the road going east at the
connnrof Housewright Hammett Co to the City Pump house be notified that
they would fix the storm drainthat is Woking the flow of water,or it
will be torn out by the city. The motion carried.
The mayor appointed the following men to serve on the equalization
Board. This appointment was subject to their approval.
J.H. Riffs., A.C. Moore., Charlie Smith.
The appointments were approved by the Council.
A *otion was made i*nd carried to pay all bills except the $10.00
rental claimed by.the St. Louis Southwestern Rail Road.
A motion was made by C.R. Hillis and 8econed by F.A. Gallagher
to make a charge of $7.50 for egch new sewerage connection, and #5.00
for each water connection made by the City. This was to be affective
immediately. The motion Carried.
A motion was made by F.A. Gallagher and Seconed by C.G. Housewright
to levy a service charge of 50# a month for reeding all meaters out-side
the City Limits. The motion Carried
I motion wad made by C.R. Hillis and seconed by John Sharp
to raise the rate from $1.00 to $1.25. This was to be affective August
1, 1946. The motion carried.
Motion for adjurament was madd and carried ismsOmommitfuntil
the next regular meeting or call meeting by the mayor.
