Minutes May 6,2014 Wylie Planning and Zoning Board Page 1 of 3 6 REGULAR AGENDA Regular Hearing Item 1 Consider, and act upon, an approval of a Site Plan for a 4,200 SF Automotive Minor Care facility located within the Aldi Wylie Addition, Block A, Lot 2, generally located north of FM 544, and east of McCreary Road. Staff Presentation Ms. 011ie stated that the Site Plan proposes to construct a 4,200 square foot Meineke Car Care facility. The location is behind Quik Trip fueling station, and northeast of Aldi Grocery store. The railroad tracks will buffer the noise and lights from the neighborhood to the north. Commissioner Owens questioned outside storage of vehicles. Mr. ulliam, 1440 E FM 544, represented the applicant, stated that the facility is ' r car repair, and no vehicles will be stored long term or longer than one night. Board Action O A motion was made by Commissioner McCrossin, .Mr- onded by Commissioner Larson, to approve the Site Plan for Meineke Care. 'V otion carried 6—0. Item 2411\"41\11° Consider, and act upon, an approval a Site Plan for an Amenity Center located within the Wooded Creek Phase 2 : Alb,,n,Block H, Lot 12, generally located north of Lakefield Drive and east o1S 'Me Ave. Staff Presentation 0 Ms. 011ie states that t 'lan proposes to construct an Amenity Center consisting of a swimming p.- . I restrooms on a single lot being 0.512 acres. The restroom facility will ► - . .ro -mately 480 square foot, and approximately 1,200 square foot in-ground p k el. II e Amenity Center is to be constructed prior to the issuance of a certificate of e pancy for a single family residential home as per the Development Agreement for the Wooded Creek Subdivision. Board Discussion Commissioner Tamez questioned the size of the handicap parking space. Scott Wright, JBI Partners, represented the applicant, stated that the parking space will be corrected.
