DISCUSSION ITEMS
There will be a Council meeting tomorrow, September 9, and the budget will be given final
approval. Library staff positions were posted last week contingent on the budget being passed by
Council. Once the budget has passed the posting will change to indicate the new positions will
be effective October 1. We will be adding seven additional part-time staff members that will be
hired to cover the additional hours. The new hours can't begin until new staff has been hired and
trained which could be late November or early December.
Rachel informed the Board she will be out of town for the next meeting on October 13. She
inquired as to whether they wanted to still hold the meeting or cancel it. The Board agreed to
cancel the October meeting and meet as regularly scheduled on November Y• tog)
