Prepared by City of Wylie Parks and Recreation Department Memo To: Park and Recreation Board Members From: Robert Diaz,Assistant Superintendent CC: Mike Sferra, Director of Development Services Bill Nelson,Superintendent Date: 01/20/2003 Re: Meeting information There will be two scheduled meetings for the week of January 27, 2003. A regular Park and Recreation Board meeting is scheduled for Monday, January 27, 2003 at 6:30 p.m. and the joint work session meeting with the City Council is scheduled for Tuesday, January 28, 2003 at 6:00 p.m. A regular meeting was needed on Monday,January 27 due to the amount of action and discussion items on the agenda that could not wait until the regular meeting in February. Another reason to have the regular meeting on Monday will be to serve as a preparation time with staff for the joint meeting with the City Council. In addition to the joint work session with the City Council on Tuesday,Carter and Burgess will present the Parks, Recreation and Open Space Plan to the City Council for final approval and will nominate a new member to the Parks and Recreation Board to replace Lisa Williams. Lisa resigned from the Parks and Recreation Board in December 2002. If you have any questions or concerns regarding the meetings please feel free to contact me. Thanks. 1
