CALL TO ORDER
The Public Arts Advisory Board meeting was called to order at 6:00 p.m. by Chairman Lynn Grimes.
Board members present included: Lynn Grimes, Brooke Lopez, Anita Jones, Lisa Green, Margaret
Boyd, and Michelle Pugh. Board member Lauren Howard was absent.
Staff present included: Carole Ehrlich, board liaison.
DISCUSSION ITEMS
• Update/Discussion and Final Plans/Committees regarding the 2015 Wylie Arts
Festival (C. Ehrlich, PAAB Liaison-Board)
Staff Comments
PAAB liaison Ehrlich reported the current number of vendors was 122 including food vendors She
presented spreadsheets with activities, advertising and volunteers scheduled for the event. Ehrlich
noted the following people were assigned to head committees for the Friday and Saturday shifts. They
are as follows:
Staff will report to the board regarding the applications received and expenditure information for
the event.
Committees have been assigned as follows:
Lynn Grimes — Coffee/donuts donation for vendors and roaming assistance Friday/Saturday
Brook Lopez—Volunteers
Michelle Pugh Sign in Table
Lisa Green — Silent Auction
Anita Jones — Silent Auction
Lauren Howard — Entertainment
Craig Kelly— Logistics and Food Vendors
Carole Ehrlich — Silent Auction
Tina Link— Sign in Table
Margaret Boyd - Float
Set up will begin Friday morning — 9:00 a.m.
Vendor set up Friday evening —6:00 — 9:00 p.m.
Vendor set up Saturday morning —6:30 a.m. — 10:00 a.m.
Vendors take down and clean-up — 5:00 p.m. — 8:00 p.m.

Board member Brooke Lopez reported she had confirmed 25 volunteers and had split the volunteers
into schedule slots (above) She noted she would send a list prior to the event with everyone's shifts and
phone numbers so it would be easy to contact one of the volunteers during their shift.
Ehrlich asked members to be at the First Baptist Church Events Center at 9:00 a.m. on December 4th to ...
prepare and mark booths and set up for the silent auction.
Rob Hunter, Ballard Street Music addressed the board stating that he and his volunteers would
decorate the stage and schedule all the entertainment. He noted he was reaching out to other
entertainers to add to the entertainment schedule.
REGULAR AGENDA
1. Consider and act upon approval of the Public Arts Advisory Board minutes from
the October 8, 2015 Regular meeting. (C. Ehrlich, PAAB Liaison)
Board Action
A motion was made by board member Boyd, seconded by board member Green to approve the
October 8, 2015 PAAB minutes as presented. A vote was taken and the motion passed 6-0 with board
member Lauren Howard absent.
ADJOURNMENT
With no further business before the board, a motion was made by board member Pugh, seconded by
Vice Chair Jones to adjourn the meeting at 6:40 p.m. A vote was taken and the motion passed 6-0 with
board member Howard absent.
