ZONING BOARD OF ADJUSTMENTS
CITY OF WYLIE, TEXAS
M8NDAY, JUNE 24, 1985

The Zoning Board of Adjustments met in regular session on
Monday, June 24, 1985 in the Council Chambers at City Hall.
A Quorum was present and notice of the' meeting had been
posted for the time and in the manner required by law.
Members present were Chairman Richard Hampton, Brian Chaney,
Garry Ludwig, Art Harris and Paul Gaddy. Representing the
city staff were Gus Pappas, City Manager, Roy Faires, C. E. O.
and Permit Clerk, Maureen Dunlop. Absent was Anna Starnes.
Mr. and Mrs. Rod Bledsaw also were present.
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Richard Hampton,
the first order of business was to approve the minutes from
the last meeting. Chairman Hampton asked if everyone had
read the minutes from the last meeting, and if so would
someone move to accept the minutes. Brian Chaney motioned
that the minutes be approved as read, Garry Ludwig seconded
- the motion.
Newt order of business was to consider approval of request
for variance of side yard set back on lot 9, block A Rush
Creek. Chairman Hampton asked Mr. B1edsavo to explain why he
was asking for a variance. After some discussion, Chairmam
Hampton asked if there were any more questions, there being
none, Chairman Hampton asked for a vote on this. All were
in favor of granting the variance, motion passed 5-0.
Next order of business was to consider approval of request
for variance of front building lime set back of 20 feet to
meet that of existing buildings. Seven letters were sent
out, one was returned in favor, none against. After some
discussion, Chairman Hampton asked for a vote, all in favor,
motion passed 5-0~
Garry Ludwig moved to adjourn, secon6ed by Paul Gaddy.
Meeting was adjourned by Chairman Hampton.
