Metroplex Multifoods has requested this variance prior to approval of a site plan, concept plan, etc. however,
those items will still be required prior to a building permit being issued. No site plan has been submitted for
review or approval. Kenneth Durrett,Metroplex Multifoods, Inc, 101 E.Cherokee St., Jacksonville, TX 76766

property was purchased because if they couldn't get the sign variances requested, this property would not be
of interest to them(visibility on FM 544 and SH 78 is very important). Mr. Durrett stated that if the variances
are not approved they can not build at this site and could not say if they would build at another location in
Wylie or another city entirely.
