02-26-2007 (Zoning Board of Adjustment) Minutes Wylie Zoning Board of Adjustment CITY OF WYLIE Minutes Zoning Board of Adjustment Monday, February 26, 2007— 7:00 pm Wylie Municipal Complex—Council Chambers 2000 Highway 78 North CALL TO ORDER Announce the presence of a Quorum. Chairman Ellis called the meeting to order at 7:00PM. Members present were: Board Member Ms. Herrera, Board Member Ms. Jourdan, Board Member Mr. Osborne and Board Member Mr. LeBaron. Board Member Mr. Young was absent. Staff members present were: Assistant Planner Jasen Haskins and Administrative Assistant Mary Bradley. CONSENT ITEM S 1. Consider and act upon approval of the Minutes of the January 22, 2007 Meeting. A motion was made by Board Member Mr. LeBaron, and seconded by Board Member Ms. Herrera, to approve the minutes of the January 22, 2007 meeting as submitted. Motion carried 3 — 0 - 1, with Board Member Osborne abstaining, and Board Member Jourdan arriving. Minutes February 26, 2007 Wylie Zoning Board of Adjustment Page 1 of 2 PUBLIC HEARINGS 1. Hold a public hearing to consider and act upon a request by Jerry Sylo of Jones and Boyd, Inc. (for D.R. Horton) for a Variance to PD 2005-44 to reduce the required lot size from 20,000 square feet to 18,955 creating a separate 5,000 square foot easement, this property being Lot 47, Block A of the Riverchase Addition, Phase 1, located at 1900 Stone Glen Drive (ZBA 2007-02). Mr. Haskins stated that the applicant is requesting the item to be tabled to March 26, 2007, as the property owner and DR Horton have logistics to iron out first. Chairman Ellis opened the Public Hearing. No one approached the Board Members. Chairman Ellis asked for a motion to table the Public Hearing until March 26, 2007. A motion was made by Board Member LeBaron, and seconded by Board Member Jourdan, to accept the request to table until March 26, 2007. Motion carried 4 — 0. ADJOURNMENT A motion was made by Board Member Mr. LeBaron, and seconded by Board Member Ms. Herrera, with the consensus from all Board Members to adjourn the meeting at 7:04PM.
