02-20-2007 (Planning & Zoning) Minutes Wylie Planning and Zoning Board CITY OF WYLIE Minutes Wylie Planning & Zoning Board Tuesday, February 20, 2007 — 7:00 pm Wylie Municipal Complex — Staff Conference Room 2000 Highway 78 North CALL TO ORDER Chairman Larson called the meeting to order at 7:03PM and stated that a quorum was present. In attendance were: Chairman Larson, Commissioner Ames, Commissioner Finnell, Commissioner Onufreiczuk, Commissioner Bennett, Commissioner Gregg, and Commissioner Goss being absent. Staff members present were Renae 011ie, and Mary Bradley. INVOCATION & PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE Commissioner Onufreiczuk gave the invocation and Commissioner Bennett led the pledge of allegiance. CITIZENS COMMENTS No one approached the Commissioners. CONSENT ITEMS 1. Consider and act upon approval of the Minutes from the February 6, 2007 Regular Meeting. A motion was made by Commissioner Onufreiczuk, and seconded by Commissioner Ames, to approve the minutes from February 6, 2007, regular meeting as submitted with no changes or corrections noted. Motion carried 5 — 0, with Commissioner Gregg abstaining. Minutes February 20, 2007 Wylie Planning and Zoning Board Page 1 of 2 ACTION AGENDA ITEMS 1. Consider a recommendation to the City Council regarding a Replat for Premier South. The replat creates three (3) commercial/industrial lots on 24.96 acres, generally located southeast of S.H. 78 and Martinez Lane. Ms. 011ie stated that the proposed name of Premier South is similar to an existing filed subdivision within the city limits. The applicant agreed to rename the Replat to Premier Plaza. The applicant has now decided not to dedicate the tract of land designated as lot 3 as Parkland. Therefore the Replat will create two (2) commercial/industrial lots. Commissioner Gregg questioned the parkland fees. Ms 011ie stated that the applicant will pay the fees. A motion was made by Commissioner Ames, and seconded by Commissioner Finnell, to recommend approval to the City Council for a Replat creating two (2) commercial/industrial lots for the Premier Plaza Addition generally located on the southeast corner of SH 78 and Martinez Lane. Motion carried 6 —0. ADJOURNMENT A motion was made by Commissioner Gregg, and seconded by Commissioner Onufreiczuk to adjourn the meeting at 7:06PM. Motion carried 6— 0.
