• Committee report regarding fundraiser options for the 2019 Wylie Arts Festival.
(C. Ehrlich, Public Arts Coordinator)
Board Comments
Chair Schwerin and board member Bennett reported that the committee had started to create
ideas regarding this year's Wylie Arts Festival Fund Raiser. He reported two ideas they were
discussing. The first would be to have a pre-sale and sidewalk art walk. This would include visits
to downtown merchants who might give prizes for the attendees that guess certain pieces of art
along the walk.
The board also looked at having a wine tasting event at the local winery on Friday night and tour
of the downtown area. Both of these options would include a sneak preview of the vendors for
early sales on Friday evening.
