C. Davisson Survey, Abstract No. 267; and being Q7.68 acres in the Duke StriCkland Survey, Abstract No. 841; and being also described as 60.00 acres off the entire East side of 158.028 acres described as Third tract in deed from W. 'N. Calhoun to the Mercantile National Bank at Dallas, Trustee, d.ated J'anuary 1, 1959, and recorded in Volume 549, page 541, of the Collin County Deed Records, and further described as follows: BEGl.i.'HIlING at a point in the center of pub.lic road at the Northeast corner of said 158.028 acre tract; Tn&~CE North 87 deg. 30 min. West 1961 feet with the cBBter of said public road to a point in the center of said road; THENCE south 2141.7 feet to a stake at marker in the North line of the G. C. and S. F. Railroad right-or-way; THENCE North 52 deg. 16 min. East 2424 feet Vori th the North line of said Railroad right-of-way to a stake at the South- east cornerof the said 158.028 acre tract; THD~CE North 4 d.eg. 15 min. East 573.5 feet to the place of beginning containing 60.00 acres of land. ~mEREAS, said tract of land is contiguous and adjacent to the City of Wylie, Texas, and i8 not more than one-half (1/2) mile in width, and \'lliEREAS, after hearing such peti tion and the arguments for and against the sa,me the City Council has voted to grant such petition and to annex said territory to the City of iJ~ylie, Texas; NOVI, TEREFOHE, be it ordained by the City Council of the Ci ty of IVY lie, Texas the the above described property be and the same is hereby annexed to the City of Nylie, Collin CGlimty, Texas, and that the boundary limits of the City of Wylie, Texas, be and the same are hereby extended to include the above described territory within the City Limits of the City of iriylie, Texas, and the same shall hereinafter be included within the territorial limits of said city, and said land and the future inhabitants ~hereof shall hereafter be entitled to all rights and privileges of Gther citizens Gf the City of Wylie, Texas, and shall be bound by the acts and ordinances of said City.
