AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO.: 62-5 SO THAT A PART OF
ZONE R-900-M IS CHANGED TO COMMERCIAL ZONING AND MULTI-FAMILY
ZONING.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WYLIE, TEXAS:
SECTION 1: After the necessary notices have been given in the
manner and for the length of time required by law
and after a public hearing on the matter, it is
ordered by the City Council that Ordinance 62-5
be amended so that the hereinafter described
property be classified as follows:
Tract 1: 10.5 acres (out of a 30 acre tract in the
E. C. Davidson Survey Abstract 267 immediately adjacent
to the south right-of-way of Highway 78) - commercial
zoning.
Tract 2: 8.87 acres (out of a 30 acre tract in the
E. C. Davidson Survey Abstract 267 immediately
adjacent to the south right-of~way of Highway 78)
Commercial Zoning.
Tract 3: 8.18 acres (out of a 30 acre tract in the
E. C. Davidson Survey Abstract 267 immediately
adjacent to the south right-of-way of Highway 78)
Multi-family Zoning except that a strip of land
two hundred feet in depth running parallel and
adjacent to Highway 78 in Tract 3 shall be zoned
Commercial.
SECTION 2: The fact that it is necessary to change a part of
Zone R-900-M and that time is of essence creates
an emergency and imperative public necessity~ this
ordinance is to take effect immediately.
