AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING THE'~EREINAFTER DESCRIBED TERRITORY TO
THE CITY OF WYLIE COLLIN COUNTY, TEXAS. AND EXTENDING THE

BOUNDRY LIMITS OF SAID CITY LIMITS, AND GRANTING TO SAID TER-
RITORY AND TO ALL PRESENT AND FUTURE.INHABITANTS OF SAID PRO-
PERTY ALL OF THE RIGHTS AND PRIVILEGES OF OTHER CITIZENS AND
BINDING SAID PRESENT AND FUTURE INHABITANTS BY ALL OF THE ACTS
AND ORDINANCES OF THE SAID CITY.
WHEREAS, the City of Wylie, Texas has fee simple title in the
following described territory, to wit:
Tract I City of Wylie
BEIKi a tract of land situated in COllin County, Texas. out of 'the Allen
Atterbury Survey, Abstract 123 and being part of 53.709 acre tract described
in a deed recorded in Volume 840, Page 151 of 'the Deed Records of CDllin
County Texas and, being more particularly described as follows:

WHEREAS, said tract of land is contiguous and adjacent to the City of
Wylie, Texas and is not more than (~) mile in width, and;
WHEREAS, after conducting a public hearing in the manner required
by law'and hearing the arguments for and against the same, the City
Council has voted to annex said territory to the City of Wylie, Texas.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Wylie,
Texas:
That the Following described property, to wit:

be and the same are hereby annexed to the City of Wylie, Collin
County, Texas, and that the boundry limits of the City of Wylie,
be and the same are hereby ,extended to include the above describ-
ed terri~ory within the City limits of the City of Wylie, Collin
County, Texas, and the same shall hereafter be included within
the territorial limits of said City and said land and they pre-
sent and future inhabitants there of shall hereafter be entitled
to all rights and privileges of other citizens of the City of
Wylie, Collin County, Texas, and shall be bourid by the acts and
ordinances of said City.
The City Secretary is hereby. directed to file.with the County Clerk
of Collin County, Texas a certified copy of this ordinance.
PASSED AND APPROVED by an affirmative vote of all members of the
City Council, this 13th day of March, 1979.
