VQ~.1131 PAGE 299 AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING THE HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED TER- RITORY TO THE CITY OF WYLIE, COLLIN COUNTY, TEXAS, AND EXTENDING THE BOUNDRY LIMITS OF SAID CITY LIMITS, AND GRANTING TO SAID TERRITORY AND TO ALL PRESENT AND FUTURE INHABITANTS OF SAID PROPERTY ALL OF THE RIGHTS AND PRI- VILEGES OF OTHER CITIZENS AND BINDING SAID PRESENT AND FUTURE INHABITANTS BY ALL OF THE ACTS AND ORDINANCES OF THE SAID CITY. WHEREAS, a petition for annexation has been duly signed and acknowledge by each and every person or corporation having an interest in the following described territory, to wit: TRACK I Being that certain lot, tract or parcel of land situated in Collin County, Texas, and being a part of the E. C. Davidson Survey, and out of a 41.04 acre tract deeded by Mollie Stone et a1 to Clayton A. Stone, May 7, 1919, and recorded in Volume 219, Page 570, Deed Records of Collin County, Texas, and being part of the second tract des- cribed in said deed and being out of the extreme South- east corner of said 41.04 acre tract and described by metes and bounds as follows: BEGINNING at a stake at the Southeast corner of said 41.04 acre tract; THENCE West along the South line of said 41.04 acre tract, 193 feet a stake; THENCE NORTH 70 feet to a stake; THENCE EAST 193 feet to the East boundary line of said 41.04 acre tract, a stake; THENCE SOUTH 70 feet to the place of beginning, and con- taining 31/100 acre of land more or less. . vm.1131 PAGE 300 BEING the same tract conveyed by Cla.yton A, Stone a.nd wife, Lena M. Stone, to C. L. Harper et ux, Rosie Lee Harper, by deed dated November 23, 1949, and of record in Volume 408, Page 139, Deed Records of Collin County, Texas. TRACT 2 All that tract of land situated in Collin County, Texas, being a part of a 29 acre tract out of the E, C, Davidson Survey, Abstract No, 267, conveyed to R. y, Groyes by Mrs. Pyshe Brooks by deed recorded in Volume 331, Page 42 of the Deed Records of Collin County, Texas, and also all of a called ~ acre more or less conveyed to Lionel Bozman by Kearney I. Starr and Wife, Charlotte Starr by deed recorded in Volume 415, Page 135, Collin County Deed Records. Said ~ acre tract more or less more fully described as follows; BEGINNING at the NE corner of the said 20 acre tract in the West line of the Extension of Birmingham Street, the same being the NE corner of the ~ acre tract; THENCE West a distance of 193.00' to corner, the same be- ing the NW corner of the ~ acre tract; THENCE South along the West line of the ~ acre tract a distance of 120.00' to the SW corner; THENCE East along the South line of the ~ acre tract a distance of 193.00' to the SE corner in the West line of the extension of Birmingham Street; THENCE Northe along the West line of the extension of Birmingham Street and the East line of the ~ acre tract a distance of 120.00' to the place of beginning and con- taining a total of 0.532 acres of land. WHEREAS, said tracts of land are contiguous and adjacent to the City of Wylie, Texas, and are not more than C~) mile in width, and; . . uL.1131 PAGE 301 WHEREAS, after hearing such petitions and the argu- ments for and against the same the City Council has voted to grant such petitions and to annex said ter- ritory to the City of Wylie, Texas; NOW THERFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Wylie, Texas: That the following described property, to wit; TRACK I Being that certain lot, tract or parcel of land sit- uated in Collin County, Texas, and being a part of the E. The City Secretary is hereby directed to file with the County Clerk of Collin County, Texas a certified copy of this ordinance.
