AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE # 62-5 AS AMENDED; SECTION 7, B,
lIb; SECTION 7, B, IIIb; SECTION 7, B IV b; SECTION 8, E; SEC-
TION 9, E; SECTION 10, A, 2; SECTION 10, B, 2; SECTION 15; AD-
MINISTRATION AND ENFORCEMENT; VIOLATIONS AND PENALITIES; BOARD
OF ADJUSTMENT; INTERPRETATION OF ORDINANCE; ADMENDMENT AND CHANGES;
VALIDITY CLAUSE; EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WYLIE, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. After the necessaey notices have been given in the man-
ner and for the length of time required by law and after a public
hearing on the matter, and for the purpose of promoting the public
health, safety, morals and general welfare of the community, the
City Council of the City of Wylie hereby authorizes the following
amendments to Ordinance #62-5.
Amend - Section 7, B, lIb, Type Material: The Main structure
shall be masonry or materials with equivalent fire-retarding
and structurial qualities as approved by the Building Inspector.
Amend - Section 7, B, IIIb, Type Material: Same as Section 7,
B, lIb.
Amend - Section 7, B IVb, Type Material: Same as Section 7, B,
lIb.
Amend - Section 8, E, Type Material: Same as Section 7, B, lIb.
Amend - Section 9, E, Type Material: Same as Section 7, B, lIb.
Amend - Section 10, A, 2, Type Material: Same as Section 7, B,
lIb.
Amend - Section 10, B, 2, Type Material: Same as Section 7, B,
lIb.
Insert - Section 15 Definitions. Masonry: Coverage of (75%)
seventy-five per cent with Masonry surface area of all vertical
walls, excluding windows, door, and other normal openings, or
materials with equivalent fire-retarding and structurial qualities
as approved by the Building Inspector.

The effective date of this amendment to Ordinance #62-5
shall take Effect on the 11th day of July 1978.
