Ordinance 1982-15 ORDINANCE # 82-15 AN ORDINANCE DEANNEXING A PORTION OF EAST STONE ROAD AND A PORTION OF OLD SACHSE ROAD AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WYLIE, TEXAS: SECTION 1. In accordance with Article #973, Vernon's Texas Civil Statutes, the following described center portions of two county roads are hereby deannexed in accordance with the following description: a. The center section of Stone Road from the intersection of Stone Road and Highway FM544 eastward to the intersection of Stone Road and Shore Road, a distance of 8,100 feet, more or less, more particularly described as follows: Beginning at a point in the intersection of East Stone Road with Shore Road at a point five feet south of the north right-of-way line of East Stone continuing to the south for a distance of fifty feet, more or less, to a point for corner; thence west parallel to and five feet north of the south right-of-way line of East Stone Road in a westward direction for a distance of 8,100 feet, more or less to a point in the intersection of FM544 and East Stone Road to a point for corner; ~hence in a northerly direction a distance of fifty feet to a point for corner; thence in an easterly direction five feet south of and parallel to the north right-of-way line of East Stone Road for a distance of 8,100 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning. b. The center section of Old Sachse Road from a point approximately 2,500 feet south of the intersection of Stoneybrook Street and Old Sachse Road in a southerly direction for a distance of approximately 2,000 feet, thence 2,700 feet, more or less, to the intersection of Old Sachse Road and an unnamed county road near the Dallas-Collin County line, more particularly described as follows: Beginning at a point in the intersection of Old Sachse Road and the unnamed County road near the intersection lof the Old Sachse Road and the Dallas-Collin County line at a point five feet northwest of the southeast right-of-way line of Old Sachse Road and proceeding in a northwesterly direction a distance of seventy feet to a point for corner, said point being five feet southeast of the northwest right- of-way line of Old Sachse Road; thence proceeding in a northeasterly direction five feet southeast of and parallel to the northwest right- of-way line of Old Sachse Road for a distance of 2,700 feet, more or less, to a point for corner; thence proceeding in a northerly direction five feet east of and parallel to the west right-of-way line of Old Sachse Road to a point 2,500 feet south of the intersection of Stoney- brook Street and Old Sachse Road to a point for corner; thence, easterly for a distance of seventy feet to a point for corner; thence proceeding in a southerly direction five feet west of the east right-of-way line of Old Sachse Road and parallel to said line a distance of 2,000 feet, more or less, to a point for corner; thence, proceeding in a south- westerly direction five feet from and parallel to the southeast right-of-way line of the Old Sachse Road a distance of 2,700 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning. SECTION 2. That the above described land be hereby deannexed as of the effective date of this ordinance, which shall be the date of adoption. SECTION 3. That a certified copy of this ordinance be furnished to the appropriate County officials for their information and use.
