ORDINANCE NO. 82-24
AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING THE HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED TERRITORY TO THE CITY
OF WYLIE, COLLIN COUNTY, TEXAS, AND EXTENDING THE BOUNDARY LIMITS OF
SAID CITY SO AS TO INCLUDE SAID HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED PROPERTY WITHIN
THE CITY LIMITS AND GRANTING TO SAID TERRITORY AND TO ALL FUTURE INHABITANTS
OF SAID PROPERTY ALL OF THE RIGHTS AND PRIVILEGES OF OTHER CITIZENS AND
BINDING SAID FUTURE INHABITANTS BY ALL OF THE ACTS AND ORDINANCES OF SAID
CITY .
WHEREAS, the following described property is contiguous to the
City limits of the City of Wylie; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City of Wylie that said
property be made a part of the Ci ty L imi ts;
BE IT, THEREFORE, ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of
Wyl ie, Texas:
That the following described property, to-wit:
BEING a tract of land situated in the James Truett Survey,
Abstract Number 920, Collin County, Texas and being the same land conveyed
to: Billy Kreymer by deed recorded in Volume 1134, Page 646, Archie
Kreymer by deed recorded in Volume 1134, Page 650 and Clifton Kreymer by
deed recorded in Volume 1134, Page 654 of the Deed Records of Collin
County, Texas and being more particularly described as follows:
BEGINNING at an iron pin found for corner in the Easterly right-
of-way line of F.M. 2514 (100' R.O.W.), said iron pin being North 020
19' 0011 West, 446.30 feet and North 020 051 4611 West, 233.75 feet from
the point of intersection of the Easterly right-of-way line of F.M. 2514
with the North line of the St. Louis Southwestern R. R. (Cotton Belt R.R.)
( 1 00' R. 0 . W . ) ;
THENCE, North 020 05' 46" West, along the Easterly right-of-way
line of F.M. 2514, a distance of 694.66 feet to an iron pin found for corner;
THENCE, North 850 08' 2111 East, along the Northerly line of said Archie
Kreymer Tract, a distance of 1058.92 feet to an iron pin found for corner;
THENCE, South 000 48' 47" East, along the Easterly line of said
James Truett Survey, a distance of 745.27 feet to an iron pin found for
corner;
THENCE, South 870 521 0511 West, along the Southerly line of the
Billy Kreymer Tract, a distance of 1041.00 feet to the point of beginning
and containing 17.336 acres of land, more or less (755,177 s.f.).
Be and the same is hereby annexed to the City of Wylie, Collin County,
Texas, and that the boundary limits of the City of Wylie, Texas, be and the
same are hereby extended to include the above described territory within the
City Limits of the City of Wylie, Texas, and the same shall hereafter be
included within the territorial limits of said City, and said land and the
future inhabitants there of shall hereafter be entitled to all rights and
privileges of other citizens of the City of Wylie, Texas, and shall be
bound by the acts and ordinances of said City.
The City Secretary is hereby directed to file with the County Clerk
of Collin County, Texas, a certified copy of this ordinance.
PASSED by an affirmative vote of all,T,emlf~ of the City Council, the
