G??f-~ uTi 181" [l1"E ~.5n 'UL it ~:.J .L ~ AN ORDINANCE FOR ANNEXATION: TO ANNEX TO THE CITY OF WYLIE, COLLIN COUNTY, TEXAS, A TRACT OF LAND OF THE FRANCISCO de la PINA SURVEY, ABSTRACT NO. 688 UPON PETITION OF Paul C. Merritt & Richard A. Williams, Jr. WHEREAS, Paul C. Merritt & Richard A. Williams, Jr. has filed a written petition to annex to the City of Wylie, Collin County, Texas, the tract of land less than three (3) qualified voters reside, all of which said facts the City Council hereby finds to be true and correct; and, WHEREAS, such petition has been heard and considered by the City Council and it been decided that such annexation of such tract of land would be to the best interest of the public and of the said City of Wylie, Texas, and that such petition for annexation should be, and the same is now granted; now therefore, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF WYLIE, TEXAS: That the following described tract of land, described by notes and bounds as follows, to-wit: Being, a tract of land situated in the Francisco De La Pina Survey, Abstract No. 688, Collin County Texas, and being a part of a 76.03 acres tract, as recorded in Volume 573, Page 588, Deed Record, Collin County, Texas, and being more particularly described as follows: BEGINNING, at a point on the South Line of the G.C. & S.F. Railroad, said point being S. 600 281 W., a distance of 252.85 feet from the North- east Corner of Said 76.03 acre tract, a ~II iron stake set for corner; THENCE, South, leaving the South Line of the G.C. & S.F. Railroad, a distance of 466.78 feet to a point on the North Line of State Highway No. 78, said point being the beginning of a curve to the left, having a central angle of 30 571 54" and a radius of 2923.93 feet, a ~" iron stake set for corner; THENCE, around said curve and along the North Line of State Highway No. 78, a distance of 202.41 feet to the end of said curve, a ~II iron stake set for corner; THENCE, North, leaving the North Line of State Highway No. 78, a distnace of 378.28 feet to a point on the South Line of the G.C. & S.F. Railroad, said point being the beginning of the curbe to the right, having a central angle of 20 1912811 and a radius of 5741.78 feet, a ~II iron stake set for corner; THENCE, around said curve and along the South Line of the G.C. & S.F. Rail- road, a distance of 232.94 feet to the PLACE OF BEGINNING, and containing 1.939 acres of land. VOL 1811p~GE 450 ORDINANCE NO. CONT1D PAGE 2 be received, annexed to, and made part of - and the same is hereby received, annexed to, and made part of - the City of Wylie, Collin County, Texas, subject to all laws, rules and regulations of said City. The fact that such annexation of said tract of land will be to the best interest of the public and the City of Wylie, and, because planned improvements upon said lands create an emergency, a necessity exists requiring that this ordinance be passed and adopted on first reading.
