AN ORDINANCE FOR ANNEXATION: TO ANNEX TO THE CITY OF
WYLIE, COLLIN COUNTY, TEXAS, A TRACT OF LAND OF THE
D. W. Williams SURVEY, ABSTRACT NO. 1021
UPON PETITION OF Wylie I. S. D.
WHEREAS, Wylie I. S. D. has filed a written petition to annex to
the City of Wylie, Collin County, Texas, the tract of land her.einafter described,
which said tract of land less than three (3) qualified voters reside, all of which
said facts the City Council hereby finds to be true and correct; and
WHEREAS, such petition has been heard and considered by the City Council, and it
been decided that such annexation of such tract of land would be to the best in-
terest of the public and of the said City of Wylie, Texas, and that such petition
for annexation should be, and the same is now granted; now therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF WYLIE, TEXAS:
That the following described tract of land, described by notes and bounds as
follows, to-wit:
All that tract of land situated in Collin County, Texas, being
a part of a 898.66 acre tract conveyed to Vantage Properties, Inc. by
the T. F. Birmingham and Hattie A. Birmingham Trust recorded in Volume
879 Page 184 of Collin County Deed Records, said tract being 15.000
acres out of the D. W. Williams Survey, Abstract No. 1021 and more
fully described as follows:
Commencing at the SE corner of the said D. W. Williams Survey,
Abstract No. 1021; Thence N 880 301 W 45.001; Thence N 660 571 W
108.90'; Thence N 880 30' W 1025.401to the place of Beginning:
Thence N 880 301 W along the South line of the 898~66 . ~cre tract
and the North Line of Farm Road No. 544 a distance of 496.40' to corner;
Thence N 880 19' W along the South line of the 898.66 acre tract
and North line of Farm Road No. 544 a distance of 296.60' to corner;
Thence N 00 30' E along the East line of a 118 aCre tract a
distance of 809.00' to corner;
Thence S 880 26' E a distance 793.00' to corner;
Thence S 00 30'W a distance of 809.031 to the place of beginnin9
and containing a total of 15.000 acres of land.
Surveyed on the ground in January 1974.

be received, annexed to, and made part of - and the same is hereby received,
annexed to, and made part of - the City of Wylie, Collin County, Texas, subject
to all laws, rules and regulations of said City.
The fact that such annexation of said tract of land will be to the best interest
of the public and the City of Wylie, and, because pla.nned improvements upon said
lands create an emergency, a necessity exists requiri~ng that this ordinance be
passed and adopted on first reading. This Ordinance shall be in force and effect
from and after its passage and approval by the Mayor of Wylie.
