AN ORDINANCE FOR ANNEXATION: TO ANNEX TO THE CITY OF
WYLIE, COLLIN COUNTY, TEXAS, A TRACT OF LAND OF THE
Francisco De La PincfiURVEY, ABSTRACT NO. 688

WHEREAS, John D. Hasoud has filed a written petition to annex to
the City of Wylie, Collin County, Texas, the tract of land hereinafter described,
which said tract of land less than three (3) qualified voters reside~ all of which
said facts the City Council hereby finds to be true and correct; and
WHEREAS, such petiti on has been heard and cons i dered by the City Council, and it
been decided that such annexation of such tract of land would be to the best in-
terest of the public and of the said City of Wylie, Texas, and that such petition
for annexation should be, and the same is now granted; now therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF WYLIE, TEXAS:
That the following described tract of land, described by notes and bounds as
fo 11 ows, to-wi t:
All that tract or parcel of land situated in Collin County, Texas, and being
a part of two tracts totaling 95 acres out of the Francisco DeLa Pina Survey,
Abstract No. 688, conveyed to Cletus W. Collier, et ux by R. J. Hall, et ux,
by deed that is ~ecorded in Volume 348, Page 632 of the Deed Records of Collin
~ounty, Texas, said tract being more fully described a8 follows:
COMMENCING at the Southwest corner of above mentioned tract No. 1 in the West
line of the Pin a Survey and being at the intersection of two county Roads;
THENCE North 0 degree 27 minutes West 1236.65 feet along the center' of Baid
county road; and the West line of said Pina Survey to the PLACE or BEGINNING;
THENCE North 0 degree 27 minutes West along the center of a county Road 1205.35
feet;
THENCE North 89 degrees 13 minutes 57 seconds East 1678.4 feet
THENCE South 0 degree 37 minutes East along an old fence line 1207.85 feet;
.THENCE South 89 degrees 19 minutes 05 seconds West 1681.9 feet to the place
of beginning and containing 46.539 acres of lend, save end except that part
conveyed to United States of America;
A tract of land situated in the County of Collin, State of TexBs, being part
of the Francisco de la Pina Survey (Abstract No. 688), end being more parti-
cularly descibed as follows;
CCJv1I1ENCING from the northwest corner of said Frandso de la Pina Survey,
situated in the South boundary line of the John C. Campbell Survey (Abstract'
No. 239);
THENCE South 47 degrees East, 2,245.0 feet to the PLACE or BEGINNING, Said
beginning, being the Northeast corner of the Cletus W. Collier, et ux, property
and the Southeast corner of the R. V. Groves property, situated in the West
, line of the Mary E. O'Reilly property;
THENCE along the common line between said Collier property on the right and
said O'Reilly and the Mary Marqaret O'Rp.illv Pen~ery properties on the left,

be received, annexed to, and made part of - and the same is hereby received,
annexed to, and made part of - the City of Wylie, Collin County, Texas, subject
to all laws, rules and regulations of said City.
The fact that such annexation of said tract of land will be to the best interest
of the public and the City of Wylie, and, because planned improvements upon said
lands create an emergency, a necessity exists requiri'ng that this ordinance be
passed and adopted on first reading. This Ordinance shall be in force and effect
from and after its passage and approval by the Mayor of Wylie.
