The City Council Tiet March 30, 1962 With all members present
Ed Collins, Mrs. ohn L. Bostic, J. x. Story and Mayor Parker.
This meeting was called to order by Mayor Parker for the pur-
pose of holding a public hearing on the proposed zoning ordinance
The Zoning Ordinance was read by Atty. John Gay and explained
by Chairman of the zoning Commi66ion Truett Smith. Engineers
Dick atewart and Mike Stiner were here representing Henningson,
Durham and Richardson Inc.
Mike Stiner explained the conditions of the Ordinance and
answered all questions from the floor. After the hearing
motion was made by J. h. Story and seconded by Ed Collins to
pass the first reading of the Ordinance.
After the hearing was over the mina'.; a, the last meeting
w're read and approved.
Motion was made by Ed. Collins and seconded by Mr. John L.
Bostic to appoint Dr. T. M. Trimble as City Health Officer.
Council requested a letter be written to Lavon Beach Officers
• to have their sign removed from city property.
Motion was m ade by Ed Collins and seconded by J. 'R.. Story to
adopt the improved Fire Alarm System. Motion carried.
Council requested the City ` co refund Agnes Eaves 030.00 for
water and sewerage, for the John M. Pelton house.
With no further business the meeting adjourned.
