Mr. James H. Kerley, jr. with the First Couthwest Co. met with- the Council in reference to a Besolution ane'nrder aprrovina- Estimate Fn. 1 and author- izing execution and delivery of first installment of City of ilylie, waterworks and sewer system Warrants. Motion was made by Jack Tarker and seconded by J. R. Storey to adopt the . resnlution and Order. Motion was made by J. R. Storey and. seconded by Carl Ward. to pass Ordinanc . Potion carried . Jr. Goldsberry met with. the Council. to renort on the TCX Equalization Board . Total value of all properties is :',3, .53 , 324.00. The 7.,sna7er reported that only SL1,56.70 was collected in delincuent taxes since notices were mailed in early Jure. The Council decided to turn. all delinnuent tax accounts over to the _tttorney for collection with a motion by J. R. Storey end seconded. by Fat Onstot . Motion carried. unanimously. Item 1 from the City Manager' s report, a motion we mode by Jock Bostic mom% and seconded. by Pat Onstot to omit building fees for non-taxable nroperty such as schools , churches and. etc . , in the City of r.i]ylie. The financial report showed the General Fund operatinp: account to be $157.37. In past years the City has transfered mosey from the water and sewer fund to supplement this fund . The Fanager reported. that due' to extra cost comingup in the water and sewer departments , it would"be wise to den ate this fund at this time. It woo reCnMMnded. that the City issue a 90 day warrant or note for *3 ,000.00 and not to exceed 6 interest. Motion was made by J. R. Storey and seconded by Jock Bostic to authorize . the Mayor to sign a note for tlis amount . Motion carried. unanimously. A motion was made by jack Bostic and seconded by J. R. Storey to authorize T.,71". Hugh Robertson, contractor, to buy the smaller lift station. w:hich will be '..:.10C.00 less than the one specified on the plan. Potion carried . The bills were approved and. J. B. Storey made motion and seconded. by Carl Ward to pay all bills. Potion carried, ‘ On. a motion. made by 5. B . Storey and seconded by Carl Ward , to buy a back-hoe diger from Bill Dates , with Fuel, Pobertson Construction. Company at a cost of *2500.0C if be puts it in geed condition.
