09-25-1962 (City Council) Minutes SPECIAL MEETING
Sept . 25 , 1962
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Hall with all
members present .
There were no objections from any citizen on the proposed
zoning of the City. A motion was made by Jack Parker and
seconded by Pat Onstot to zone the City as proposed. Motion
carried unanimously.There were no objections on the proposed change
from 600 sq. ft. to 450 sq. ft . in multi-family dwellings .
Motion wasnade by JR Storey and 2nd. by Carl Ward to ammend the
Zoning Ordinance to read 450 sq ft minimum for multi-family units .
Motion carried unanimously.
Final payment to Hugh Robertson was discussed and the following
decision was made :. On a motion by Carl Ward and 2nd by J. R.
Storey, Frank Medanich was authorized to issue the balance of
Warrants to Mr. Robertson providing Mr. Robertson would deposit
a cashiers check in the amount of 454, 500.00 with the City until
final inspection is made and acceptance , or Frank Medanich have all
warrants signed and hold a like amount until final acceptance .
Motion carried.
The proposed improvement on Stone Street was discussed and it was
decided to get two bids before final decision is made.
There ' rig no further business the meeting adjourned at 7; 50 PM.

M. F. Allen and Glen Daniel met with Council to ask what had been
• done about a fire truck. They discussed a small fire truck they coy
could buy for ;5 , 500.00. They wanted to buy the truck with the
understanding that the City would buy their larger truck when the
proposed bond program goes into effect.The Council was in agreement.
Bids were read from two wholes- lers on installing an underground
gasoline storage . Motion was made by Carl Ward and 2nd by
Storey to accept the Texaco bid. Motion carried.
Motion was made by Carl Ward and 2nd by J. R. Storey to adopt the
plumbing Ordinance and to provide 60 days in which any one in-
terested might obtain a State Plumbing License.
