01-08-1963 (City Council) Minutes t ,1 CITY OF WYLIE MINUTES "—` Jan. 8, 1963 The City Council met in regular session on Jan. 8, 1963 at 7:00 PM. The following members being present: Jack Bostic, Carl Ward and Jack Parker. Meeting called to order by Mayor Hall. Bill LaCocq, Scottie Austin, Chuck Elledge, Robert Roddy and Bob Daniel met with the Council to discuss turning over the newly acquired Community Center Bldg. to the City. After much discussion the Community Center Board was to make further study and report back to the Council. Gasoline storage tank to be added to the listing of City owned property located on railroad property. Motion by Jack Bostic seconded by Carl Ward. Motion carried. Letter from Ministerial Assc. read to the Council thanking the City for the donation of water to the Churches of Wylie. Ordinance #63-1 and #63-2 discussed. Mr. Lee asked to make copies for the Councilmen to study. Motion by Jack Bostic seconded by Carl Ward to pay bills for Dec. Motion carried. Motion by Jack Bostic seconded by Carl Ward to charge the min- imum rate of water, sewage and garbage to all family units plus the regular rate for water used over 2400 gallon.Motion carried. Motion by Jack Bostic seconded by Carl Ward to extend sewer line from corner of Birmingham and Stone Street North to Kirby. Motion carried. No other business meeting adjourned.
